Solar 101
The Basics
A home solar power system will reduce or eliminate your current electric bill. The system is connected into your main electric panel run your home just as it does today. The only difference, NO POWER BILL at the end of the month.
Purchase, Loan, or Lease
The option is yours. If you choose the lease or loan option your monthly payment is typically 30% – 50% less than what you were paying the utility anyway. Typical savings over the lifetime of the system is tens of thousands of dollars.
Net Metering
We typically customize your system so that it produces the same amount of power that you currently use. If you produce more that you use you are able to sell that electricity back to the utility through net metering.
